Events Calendar
Someone asked how to find the events calendar in the HOA meeting this past Monday night. So I'll give you three ways to use it. See it embedded here in this post (bookmark this post if you like). There is a link in the sidebar to your right. And lastly, there is a group discussion topic that gives "Dansforth Calendar" updates via RSS and iCal for advanced users. Hope this helps you stay in the know about neighborhood events and meetings.

Wake Forest is jamming!
I know this is a bit of late notice, but I thought you may want to know about a cool event happening in Wake Forest today. I found out about it on Craigslist events. Wake Forest Festival Park is holding a teen "Battle of the Bands" for 14-19 year olds. The first band's set starts at 12:10, and the finale concludes at 6pm. 8 bands in all! Smells like teen spirit! Yeah! Come out and enjoy the show! (They even have a bit of viral video marketing.)
The Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile will be there for the kids. "I wish I drove an oscar meyer wiener..." Exciting!
See about other upcoming events in Wake Forest on the town community calendar.

Everybody Loves Ice Cream
This past Sunday, Centex hosted "Sundaes on Sunday" at the Clubhouse and Pool. So off we went, took the boys up for some pool time and a cool treat. It was a hot one, let me tell you. Hot hot heat. But nothing soothes like moose-tracks with oreo crumbles and topped off with caramel syrup. Or just plain vanilla bean. Mmm mmm good. Summer is almost over. See you up at the pool. Let's enjoy it while we can.
Check for more upcoming events and meetings on the Dansforth calendar. See you soon.
